The debut of The Acolyte's twin concept encounters setbacks.

I'm not enjoying it so far. The first two episodes didn't work for me, and I'm uncertain about its direction moving forward. However, I suppose I should give it more of a chance.

There are a few issues with this show. In the first episode, there's a twist where Mae, the protagonist, unexpectedly stalks and kills a Jedi (played by Carrie-Anne Moss, who I hope will have more to do in flashbacks). Then, in the next scene, we meet Osha, Mae's twin sister, who appears completely different and not at all like a killer. She's arrested for the crime, and it's quickly revealed that Mae's supposedly dead twin is alive and hunting Jedi. It feels like a gimmicky opening.
